We finished our look at rotations today with the second half of Lesson 7.3.
We also learned how to use the Darth Vader in the City technique to rotate points and vertices about any point. This is going to come in very handy on our test next week!
Homework: Textbook pages 413-414 "Talk the Talk"

Today is class we explored the effects of our second kind of transformation, a rotation, with an awesome Desmos activity.
For those that were absent today, you'll need to complete the activity at home on your own. Head to student.desmos.com and type in the class code that goes with your period.
Period 4: UQ8X7
Homework: Play the Center of Rotation game at home with a parent or sibling.

We had some technical issues with our laptops today, so we jumped into translations with Lesson 7.1.
Here's the Ohio State Marching Band illustrating a translation for you. :-)
Parents: Ask your child to explain in their own words (and identify in their class work) the terms transformation, translation, congruent, image, and pre-image.
